MY WHISPER: Mom, I don’t think I ever expressed my gratitude and love for these letters. I hope the fact that I’ve held on to them for all these years lets you know how much they meant to me. Reading your “life lessons” again after 12 years, is truly remarkable. You were right on the money with everything you wrote. I probably didn’t realize it and/or appreciate it when I was 21 years old, but I do now.
